Lacey and I pulled our offer for the house on Fourth Plain immediately after recieving the Inspector report. Truth be told, there wasn't too much on the Inspector Report that we didn't expect. We knew that we (the sellers) would need to replace to roof, fix the electrical problems, and a sum of other minor but nessessary problems for us to continue forward. However, while we were there (during the inspection) we really got a frontrow view on the traffic situation that the house is subject to during the day. Maybe "situation" isn't the right word. Let's try "massive, double-loaded semis constantly stampeding through like a parade" is more like it. So we terminated our offer and will be recieving the Earnest Money deposit back in the mail in a couple of days.
So back to square one. But our spirits are high and we're excited to start our search anew. This time better prepared, a little more cautious, and definitely more knowledgable about what we're looking at. Though we're both dissappointed that this house didn't work out for us (aside from the location it really was a good looking house) we're optimistic about continuing our house-hunt.
